URSUS uses both stranded and ply bamboo for reels and boxes. Stranded bamboo is compressed in a single sheet and extremely impact resistant. Ply bamboo is made in 0.25" laminated layers that is strong and extremely light.
URSUS uses various domestic and exotic woods. Some require resin stabilization. We can also use customer supplied wood. Contact us to discuss further.
We have some inlay reels and boxes in stock and can produce a custom inlay/material request in typically 4 to 6 weeks depending on availability.
We can add a personalized message or combine it with a customized inlay.
